Drug and Alcohol Safety Education Program (DASEP)

DASEP Program

The mission of the Arisa Health Drug and Alcohol Safety Education Program (DASEP) is to promote public safety by reducing the number of injuries and fatalities due to driving while under the influence of alcohol or other drugs.

We provide state certified court screenings and educational classes for individuals who are convicted of:

  • Driving While Intoxicated (DWI - Alcohol/Drugs)
  • Underage DUI/DWI
  • Minor in Possession
  • Boating While Intoxicated (BWI)
  • Fraudulent ID

You got the ticket……..now what?

Before your court date, make an appointment with Driver Control (located in the Revenue Department) to obtain a checklist of requirements for reinstatement and to get a limited permit or a restricted license for the suspension period.

Make sure you know where and when you are scheduled to appear in court. Depending on the court, you may be screened during court or after by phone. A recommendation of services will be made to the court, for either education or treatment. Contact the DASEP office in county in which you received your ticket for any information. See numbers on the map below. Follow all instructions from both the Driver Control office and DASEP.

You must complete the recommended DASEP services and Driver Control requirements for each separate offense.

When you have completed all requirements and your suspension time is up, you are ready to contact Driver Control to reinstate.
